I am trained in a variety of therapies the main ones being: Humanistic, Art, and E.M.D.R. In my career I’ve applied these techniques to many problems to do with career and choices around meaning; to life crises such as infidelity or loss; to severe lifelong depression and or anxiety; and abuse and psychological trauma.
Before starting my practice here in London I worked as a counsellor in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and after in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. In Cambodia I founded and ran what is now the main counselling centre for adults in the capital Phnom Penh: Indigo Psychological Services (Now called Bamboo Centre). Living abroad was a wonderful experience; it taught me a lot about why people do what they do. And returning to London a few years ago has created just as an amazing an experience.
It never ceases to amaze me how people naturally retain an awareness of themselves, despite whatever stresses they are under. And that one of the most important elements that helps is the space to realise this.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselors and Psychotherapists (B.A.C.P.).
